In 2003, Vans launched an extension of their label into Vans Vault which would see the skateboarding classics reworked into contemporary colors and collections. Different facets such as art, street wear, and music would lend creative attribution to the premium Vault label and their coveted collaborations. Returning for another release this season, Taka Hayashi releases another DIY Hi VLT LX in black for your customizing preference. A blank canvas upper acts as your palette as Vans provides an array of colored panels and heritage prints to use at your mood's disposal, while the tonal outsole sees printed white graphics courtesy of the collaborators. Decorative Deco stitching also acts as guidelines of where you can place the panels, or do the opposite and go bare for equal satisfaction.
